Youth Honors Orchestra
Four Bethany students selected
Four Bethany students have been selected for the Elkhart County Youth Honors Orchestra, an educational outreach program of the Elkhart County Symphony: Mags Dutchersmith (grade 7), Adam Krahn (grade 9), Sadie Gustafson-Zook (grade 10), and Sara Erb (grade 11). The students audition and are placed by the director of the program, Brian Wiebe.
Dutchersmith was selected for the first violin section of the Intermediate Concert Orchestra (ICO), which includes 48 of the strongest 7-9th grade players in the county. Adam Krahn, Sara Erb, and Sadie Gustafson-Zook were selected for the Youth Honors Orchestra (YHO), which includes approximately 60 of the strongest players from the county. The Honors Orchestras are a great opportunity for students to meet other strong players and make great music together.
Congratulations to Mags, Adam, Sara, and Sadie on your achievement.
