Adam Krahn places fourth

Adam Krahn ('14) finished fourth 4th in the ninth grade and under division of the Indiana Scholastic Chess Championship on Jan. 29 in Indianapolis. Adam finished with a 4-1 record, losing only to the top-seeded player in his division.

Adam won the 25th annual Elkhart County scholastic chess championship. He joins previous Bethany winners of the title Bryan Falcon, 1991; Jeff Claassen, 1998, 2000; and Mark Bauman, 2003-06.
