He set Bethany's all-time goal-scoring record with 67 on a header in the semi-state semifinal vs. Argos, previously held by Myron Bontreger ('87). Hollinger-Janzen slipped onto the national radar screen when he took MVP honors at Indiana University's camp earlier this summer. Hollinger-Janzen quickly received multiple offers before deciding on Indiana University.

Hollinger-Janzen will be the second Bethany athlete to play Division I soccer and the second to play a sport at Indiana; 2010 graduate Jesse Ramer played one soccer season at Western Michigan, while 2009 graduate Chelsea Noble played on the Indiana softball team her freshman year.

Hollinger-Janzen describes his own journey as "kind of a miracle": born with a bent leg in Benin to becoming a soccer standout. Read more at Bethany's Hollinger-Janzen to play soccer at IU (Steve Krah/Elkhart Truth) and at A Bright Future (Greg Keim/Goshen News).
