Friday, Sept. 26 alumni will have free admission to the home girls and boys soccer games. The varsity girls will host Elkhart Christian at 5:00 and the varsity boys will host Westview following the girls game. The JV boys will also host Westview at 5:00 on the back field. In addition to free admission, registered alumni will have opportunity for prizes, including an opportunity to participate in the halftime shootout for pizza. Four alumni classes (1958, 1968, 1983, and 2003) will have reunions this weekend.

Following the last game, the Bethany community is invited to stay for a fall sports celebration that will include a hog roast and bonfire. Each team will have opportunity to share briefly regarding their season as they head into sectional play. Bethany teams have done well this year and are excited about entering sectional play. The boys tennis team is 12-4 and has defeated all sectional opponents this season. The boys soccer team is 8-2-2 and has defeated or tied all sectional opponents. The volleyball team is 16-5 and lost a close regular-season match to last year's sectional champion.The girls soccer team is 6-4 and hopes to avenge an early-season loss to last year's sectional champion. The girls cross country team is 4-4 and hopes to post one of the school's better sectional team peformances this year. They are led by returning sectional champion Ali Hochstetler ('11). The boys cross country team has struggled to field a complete team, but hopes to improve its performance in sectionals.
