Three teams place at state!

Bethany's Academic Superbowl math team placed third and the fine arts and interdisciplinary teams placed fourth in the state competition on Saturday, May 9.

The teams placed first in the Apr.  21 area competition at Northridge High School and qualified for state by finishing in the top five. In addition to these three teams, Bethany's English team also finished first in the area competition, but did not qualify to advance to state.

Bethany has had a top-five qualifying team for the state tournament for 13 consecutive years and every year but one since its inception in 1987.

 Team members include: Lynelle Yoder, Katie Yoder, Alisha Snyder, You Jin Bae, Ji Eun Han, Sierra Germeyan, Casey Snyder, Ji Hye Lee, Hyun Taek Guan, Jeff Yoder, Jared Miller, and Joel Fidler.
