UB Bruin Club

Students in grades 3-5 who are planning to attend Bethany or just want to explore that option, should consider joining this club. Children can make friends with future classmates and begin to have their own fun experiences at Bethany.

Sept. 16, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Computer Activities

Oct. 21, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Be a Geo Quiz Wiz!

Nov. 18, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Bible Study and Art Project

Jan. 20, 6:30-8:00 p.m.** Games with Bethany Bruins girls basketball team and exclusive viewing of the Bethany 4th-5th grade play. **Canceled due to weather.**

Feb. 24, 6:45-9:30* p.m. Special opportunity for club members to attend the Bethany Christian High School production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  *Note time variation. 

  • Club members will eat dinner together before the play and should dress in semi-formal attire for this special evening!   

March 16, 6:30-8:00 p.m. Activities with Bethany's awesome 6th grade teachers

Apr. 27, 6:30-8:00 p.m. FACS Fun!

May 18, 7-8 p.m. Year-end Ice Cream 'n Science Social

  • Ice cream will be made with liquid nitrogen for a cool cryogenics or phase change demonstration led by Bethany Christian High School Chemistry/Physics teacher and UB Bruin dad, Calvin Swartzendruber.

The club is led by Eliza Stoltzfus (mother of one current and several future Bruins) and Rachel Roth Sawatzky, Bethany’s admissions director.
