Jeff Yoder ('12) second

Senior Jeff Yoder was selected as the second-place winner in the 2010-11 John Horsch Mennonite History Research Contest high school division, sponsored by the Mennonite Church USA Historical Committee. Yoder wrote his paper on Civilian Public Service.

Jonny Gerig Meyer ('04), a recent graduate of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, also won the graduate/seminary division this year with his paper entitled, "“Just Wages: Toward an Anabaptist Philosophy of Employee Compensation for Mennonite Institutions of Higher Education." Jonny has now won this contest in each division: high school, college, and graduate/seminary!
